      In depth

      Verdict

Calin Du Brizais was going nicely enough when unseating today's rider last time and makes more appeal than most off his current mark but there's a couple of in-form sorts beneath him in the handicap, of which CALARULES makes most appeal for the way he travelled through his race the last day before quickening away in some style. He's up 9lb as a consequence but he created a good impression and can follow up. Course and distance winner Zebi Boy has strong credentials for the Skelton operation and is a shortlist essential as is easy Southwell winner, Kiwayu. However, the latter has been hit with a thumping 12lb rise for that victory and may struggle to follow up as a result.
