In depth

Verdict

MUSTANG ALPHA will relish this big step up in distance having placed twice over shorter trips and Max Kendrick’s claim is a plus on his handicap debut. Neville's Cross is another likely to enjoy a more searching test of stamina after his third over 2m1f at Carlisle in February. Innerpickle should be thereabouts again but Holme Abbey could have done without a 4lb rise for finishing second at Cartmel. Little Jack doesn’t look an easy ride.
