In depth

Verdict

Calypso Bay is only 3lb higher than when last successful over hurdles but Mauricetheathlete has plenty of weight and Hollins has been showing little sign of a revival. Auberge is paying the price for a couple of wins earlier in the year and Sir Frank has been disappointing over fences but Bertie Boru and Bangor winner Flicka Williams are lightly raced, though the latter has been hit hard by the handicapper. KING BORU was clear of the third when runner-up to the odds-on Loose Change at Worcester last month and could be the answer trying 3m for the first time.
