A small but competitive affair. Dark Fairy has been an underachiever in all senses of the word but she was able to take a Newton Abbot hurdle last time out. It was a fast surface on that day but the opposition was weak. Bow Strada is the pick of the Hobbs team. Capable of going well fresh, he has handled the surface before and he really should be able to beat this bunch if he is to make his mark in better company later in the season. Tensile returns to hurdling after a lof hurdling. Jockey bookings would indicate that this horse would be second choice but if he is on a going day, he could be the fly in the ointment. Athleague Guest and Oulton Broad don't look good enough.
