In depth

Verdict

Georgian King should be hard to beat here with the step up to three miles in his favour with Predictive and Thumbprint the dangers. The selection progressed for each of his first two starts over hurdles before opening his account over two miles seven at Exeter on good ground. He was then dropped back a furlong in trip on a sharper track and failed to reel in the winner but the step back up in trip and this more testing track can see him resume winning ways. Earcomesthedream responded well to the fitting of a visor last time but has plenty to find on the book as does Thumbprint but he did improve for the fitting of a tongue tie last time and may be able to take another step forwards. Dasher Reilly isn't straightforward but Predictive appeals as a live threat on his return to a more suitable trip but we think that Georgian King can reign this evening.
