A competitive novice handicap chase with Stack The Pack, Multeen Gunner, Silver Samuel and Assumethepostion all in with a chance but the vote goes to the last named. Assumethepostin comes from the in form stable of Richard Guest and has his first run over fences. His hurdle form has all been on soft or heavy ground but we feel that connections are not bothered by the conditions and for that reason nor should the horse. Generally a horse will jump better off a faster surface and if taking to the larger obstacles Assumethepostion will go close.Stack The Pack won first time over fences when beating World Vision at Perth last time out and will be the main danger. But for that he has risen in the weights and has to give weight to some more unexposed horses. Multeen Gunner could be one of those and after his win at Sedgefield will be high in confidence as he tackles this step up in trip.Silver Samual is another worth noting in the betting market as prior to him pulling up with something amiss at Hereford last time out he was making hay around the same track so if back to his best he's a danger. But for the winner we will chance our luck with Assumetheposition.
