In depth

Verdict

DAN BREEN had his limitations exposed in the Grade 1 Arkle Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, but was far from disgraced in coming home in seventh place, if anything having been rather lit-up by the first-time application of blinkers and they're left off today. His previous chase efforts afford him obvious claims here and with the further benefits of assured fitness and chasing experience, he can revert to winning ways. What's Up Doc has done really well for Lawney Hill under both codes and should be fit enough after a respectable recent effort on the Polytrack. He looked useful when hacking up over fences at Southwell last summer. Five Out Of Five and Causeway King are set stiff tasks on their respective chasing debuts.
