None are easily ruled out in a competitive-looking handicap. Silverhow is sure to be among the market leaders having stayed on strongly to get off the mark over 2m at Sandown - he remains unexposed. Saint Cajetan was well backed when second at Doncaster last month and Agamemmon is holding his form well and wears blinkers today in attempt to wrest further improvement. Hadfield is well treated on past form but Great Tempo has become disappointing. Course winner Perseid is due a good run but Land League was engaged yesterday at Fontwell. MCKENZIE’S FRIEND hasn’t run in this grade since recording a double at Plumpton at the end of 2015. Though only fifth at Wincanton last time, he wasn’t beaten far and hopefully first-time headgear will see him back on top form here.
