Verdict

PONMEWORD was having his 14th start over fences when gaining his first success at Limerick on St Stevens Day but he's been running well previously and there was no surprise about the result. He'll definitely be raised by more than the 4lb extra he carries here and has to be the selection to follow up. Ardglen was 10l behind on that occasion and can hardly be expected to reverse the form over this longer trip while Count Salazar, who attracted some support, unseated his rider at the halfway stage. Son Of Moyne beat Annacarton 4l at Thurles in October but ran poorly on his only subsequent start at Naas the following month.
