PAGAN MAGIC gained his only success in 19 starts over fences over the C&D at this meeting a year ago. He's done nothing since which is why he's on a 5lb lower mark but he's rarely had the testing ground he needs and could spring a surprise. Isourbell is still a maiden but a big run is expected as she is generally consistent and ran a very good race behind Skidroe Joe over the C&D in October. Heroes Square hasn't shown much over fences but in the context of this race his form doesn't look too bad while it's possible that Toby Ben has more to offer.
