In depth

Verdict

Prince Chaparral won this in 2010 on fast going and hasn't been successful since though he hasn't been performing badly and is 4lb lower this time. Narjawa looked a nice prospect for hurdling last year but has been running poorly and though Benefit Of Porter is the obvious form pick after another fine effort at Wexford she very rarely runs on anything but quick ground and has never won on soft. Eagle's Pass is better known as a chaser so it's ADMIRAL BARRY who gets the vote. He was in excellent form at this time a year ago and has been competing at a higher level than this. He's dropped in the ratings to a fair mark and a stamina test brings out the best in him.
