Oryx Hustler landed a maiden hurdle here in June 2021 but hasn't been seen since a 16-length third on his chasing debut at Downpatrick a week later and has changed stables. The Abbey has won on the Flat and over hurdles and though he's had nine starts over fences without winning this looks a moderate contest and a recent run at Dundalk will have put him straight. Leac An Scail Lady showed some potential over fences for Henry De Bromhead though has moved yards but winning hurdler Kingston Kid has had five starts over fences without reaching a place. HARDWIRED was beaten 20 lengths into third over timber at Fairyhouse but a couple of runs last autumn would suggest he's up to winning a race of this nature, though dual hurdles winner Shean Glory makes her debut over fences.
