AMAZING STAR has just one victory from 14 starts to his credit over timber but he's been in very good form at Dundalk and with a rating of just 81 looks set to double his tally. Roman Numeral is another with a lone victory over hurdles but ran his best race for some time behind the prolific Snowell at Clonmel in February and a repeat would see him in the frame. Foolish Notions had shown nothing before that latter event but attracted some support and wasn't beaten far into third. Pleased As Punch had looked ready to gain her first success over timber when runner-up here on New Year's Day and her only subsequent run is probably best ignored as she was impeded at a crucial stage so she's one to keep an eye on.
