Western Sea made most and battled back when headed on the run-in to make a winning start for Ross O'Sullivan at Thurles though has been hit with a 9lb rise. BRITISH ART, a dual winner on Tapeta in the UK, ran his best race over hurdles when a close third at Clonmel and a repeat performance would see him difficult to beat in a poor handicap. It's three years since Galuppi won his only race in 44 starts and though Flemen Majic has been running well enough in maidens she may find this on the short side. It's A Long Story has yet to reach a place in eleven starts under Rules in the UK but the fact that he's joined Gordon Elliott and he's on a mark of 80 suggests better is expected so the market should be monitored for clues. Still Alive reached a place over hurdles for the first time in 13 starts at Thurles but that was on very fast going and he has no form on today's ground.
