Verdict

Valyssa Monterg, unbeaten in three bumpers in France, started long odds-on for her debut over 2m6f at Thurles but never really got into the action. She takes a big drop in trip but looked one-paced and may not be suited. Mystic Lass is another who has has shown her best form over longer trips but SILVER SALLY has been getting closer and would have given Mandasini a race at Thurles but for a last-flight mistake so looks the one to be on. Day Day started with a fine run behind Wood Breizh here in April and didn't reappear until October when a close third in a Wexford bumper. She has some potential, a remark that also applies to Do Try Dolly.
