Lurcher was a rare runner in a bumper for James Fanshawe on Lingfield's Polytrack in January and won a shade cosily, though the form hasn't worked out. Roman General ran his best races on the Flat on Polytrack while Busted Tycoon showed little on the level though should improve for his two runs over timber. Dougal Philps, a winner on testing ground on the Flat at Ballinrobe, disappointed when strongly fancied on his hurdling debut and has run poorly in two subsequent outings. ALIZARI had shown nothing before a much better effort when attempting to make all at Wexford on St Patrick's Day, when Positive Vibes was well beaten, and today's quicker going may enable him to get off the mark.
