Verdict

Charles Byrnes might well have the bookies running for cover again as Lash It On, a winner at Downpatrick in May, is surely better than he showed on very fast ground at Limerick. But GLASSLYN ROAD won on very quick going here in April and had a break before returning to the track in June where he performed with enough credit to be handed the vote here. Naughty Molly, runner-up over the course and distance in June, occupied the same position over timber last time but has a strike-rate of 1-35 under Rules. Dark Outsider was third in a maiden hurdle last time and was in front when unseating his rider at the eighth here on his previous start in October. The veteran Tomcoole Lad, a winner at Galway in October, showed signs of reaching his peak at Wexford last month and can get into the action.
