Verdict

THE RECOVERY was in the process of grabbing a place at least when falling at the last on his racecourse debut in a maiden at Thurles before a poor run in a bumper on this course. He showed that earlier effort to be no fluke with a very promising fourth to Sandymount Lady on fast ground at Punchestown last month and that form should be good enough for this. Lea Lady has been narrowly beaten at Downpatrick on her last two starts and deserves a change of fortune though she has had 17 career starts without managing a victory. Hill Of Dyrick showed improved form behind First Beauty at Limerick and there's every chance he will make further progress and get involved here.
