Verdict

Pro Dancer is the pick over the likes of Fontanesi, Travello, Visibility and Ask The Umpire to name but a few. Pro Dancer has not seen a lot of action since joining Peter Bowen, having had just four starts in all. He has obviously been hard to train, but when he has made it to the track, the nine-year-old has performed with credit, finishing runner-up twice from just four outings. The drop down in grade and trip will help, as will the fact that he will be ably assisted by the very capable Rachel Green, and with the ground posing no problems, he should make a bold bid. Fontanesi has lost his form completely but is well handicapped compared to a couple of years ago, and has the up-and-coming Jenny Riding on board, while the other Pipe runner Visibility, a beaten favourite when third at Fontwell, will be partnered by Jackie Coward. The most experienced girl of them all though is Polly Gundry, and her presence on top of Ask The Umpire should ensure that the veteran goes well. Rose Davidson is normally seen sporting her father's pink colours round the northern circuit, but she has picked up the ride on Lewis Island. Rose will do well to get this fellow to bloom though, and preference is much for Pro Dancer.
