Kahsabelle finished a long way behind Bathwick Quest last time and it may be worth overlooking the pair in favour of HERE'S THE KEY. Paul Webber's mare shaped with some promise in a Ludlow bumper but, as a half-sister to Exit To Wave, can be expected to improve for the switch to obstacles and this stiffer test. Kahsabelle has struggled to build on a promising start to her career and has something to prove following a lacklustre run at Exeter where she was no match for Brendan Powell's runner. Bathwick Quest made a welcome return to form that day after some disappointing runs and has claims if she can build on that but there has to be some doubt about that given her profile. Moonlight Ruby didn't show an awful lot in bumpers but may fare better now hurdling but a bigger danger may be Munlochy Bay who was in the process of running a big race when falling four from home at Chepstow in a race won by Manyriverstocross. Princess Rainbow and Xtravaganza were fair handicappers on the Flat who need a market check but preference is for Here's The Key.
