Verdict

Closesthingtocrazy ran some reasonable races in Ireland and has claims first time up for Sarah Humphrey but he seems a shade high in the weights, while Don McCain's Rawaaj has been well held in recent starts. Don Pietro is less exposed than most but needs to improve on hurdles form and preference is for LOCO GRANDE, who was formerly trained by Charlie Longsdon and now has his first outing for Tim Vaughan and looks worth siding with given his new trainer's record with runners from previous stables. Carrig An Uisce is 10lb higher than when scoring at Hereford when last seen in March, while Lightening Fire would probably prefer a softer surface.
