Barton Hill can step up on his Uttoxeter third to oblige over Runaway Bishop, Bob The Builder and Oulton Broad. Barton Hill had been called a few things before his gutsy effort when opening his account over fences at Exeter in March, and showed that to be no fluke when second off a four-pound higher mark at Hereford next time. In need of the run at Uttoxeter last time, he will strip fitter now and is still reasonably weighted, so with Darryl Jacob able to take seven-pounds off his back, Paul Keane's eight-year-old should go close. Runaway Bishop is a dual course winner who has been campaigned over longer trips of late, and is interesting now back over this trip, while Bob The Builder steps out of novice company for the first time and is lightly raced so could improve in time. Oulton Broad has topweight but is a course and distance winner so is worth a mention as well, but Barton Hill can come out on top.
