GUYDUS can improve sufficiently from her debut to take the finale from Douryna and Springtree. Runners from the selection's yard tend to improve for their initial experiences and the form of her debut run at Uttoxeter looks rock solid with the winner having already won a race. Alora Money and Gentle Caribou have both shown ability but look vulnerable as does Jersey Countess. The newcomers are always worth a look and that includes Ridley Taylor whose yard landed a touch in a bumper here last season. Douryna showed enough in a fair race at Plumpton to enter calculations in what is probably a weaker contest whilst two of the three horses that were in front of Springtree at Warwick have turned out to be pretty useful so she merits a second look in the market. The selection has race fitness on her side though and that could prove key for Guydus.
