Verdict

Malibu Sun is definitely improving with experience and was the only one to make a race of it with Ramses De Marcigny at Newton Abbot earlier this month. However, THORESBY has form in better company and may now be ready to open his account have finished third in a quite competitive novices' handicap over a slightly longer trip at Ludlow last month. The others with experience appear to have a bit to find to get competitive and newcomer Consult, a maiden on the level, hasn't raced since October.
