A winner at Carlisle last month, Midnight Request failed to cope with a 9lb rise when only third at Exeter last week. Viking Mistress has been thereabouts in lower grade contests and has crept up the weights as a consequence but Dubai Devils makes the trip over from Ireland and should be sharper for a recent comeback run at Navan. The latter comment also applies to BUCKONTUPENCE, who failed to complete on his reappearance but was placed in all four starts last year and a conditional’s allowance helps his cause in this.
