Verdict

Amateurs take centre stage here and DRUID'S FOLLY may be the one despite topweight if able to reproduce the quality of his latest effort when just seen off by Chatelier in a competitive, large-field handicap at Warwick. He's not always been the most reliable in the past but that latest run reads well in the context of this contest. Olly Murphy fires a couple of darts courtesy of Banff and Bisoubisou, both of whom can have decent claims made for them, with the former seen as the main danger to the selection despite his return from an absence of over 260 days. He definitely has the potential to rate higher than his current mark. Visible Light is best watched on return from an absence of over two years, so Kastani Beach and recent scorer Barney From Tyanee look likelier names for the shortlist.
