In depth

Verdict

RYDALIS got her act together at Exeter earlier this month to record her first win over timber. She has a penalty to carry as a consequence but there should be more to come from Venetia Williams' mare now she's got her head in front. Queen Of Mantua has had just the two starts over timber and showed enough when second at Bangor to suggest she'll be winning before long while a similar comment applies to recent Wincanton third Shantou Breeze. Midnight Macarena is a winner over fences and may need further to show her best back over the smaller obstacles.
