In depth

Verdict

The novice Rosa Fleet won over 3m at Southwell before finishing third at Bangor but looks a shade high in the weights at present. Kings Cross also won on his penultimate start, at Lingfield, but was beaten on a return visit to the Surrey track when favourite. Cloudy Bob has only managed one win in 22 starts over fences and fell at Leicester on his latest start, though is on a decent mark nowadays. SON OF SUZIE is still seeking a first victory over the larger obstacles but has shown promise, especially when there has been plenty of give in the ground. He won here over hurdles on heavy going and may now be ready to open his account over fences.
