Verdict

A competitive enough opener with NOBBY KIVAMBO making most appeal of this bunch. The selection was far from disgraced at Worcester last time out before succumbing to a well handicapped rival. The yard's horses appear to be running well and he can give another good account. Martin Keighley's stock is rising fast and The Fox's Decree is of some merit. Backers will, however, need to overlook a bad run last time out. Red Rouble makes a first step into handicaps. Be Ashored has gone up 10lb for an effortless success at Newton Abbot though that won't be enough to stop followers of the Tim Vaughan yard weighing in again. Glacial Call is a winning hunter chaser who could literally be anything.
