Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Some old regulars in amongst this bunch and PADDY'S TERN can follow up a recent success at the expense of Backfromthecongo and Gemini Storm. Kim Bailey's charge had dropped a heavy hint at Sedgefield before confirming that impression when victorious at this course last week. There should be plenty more to come and Jason Maguire keeps the faith. Backfromthecongo has only gone up 6lb for victory at Ffos Las. That said, it was a very poor race and only three runners finished. Gemini Storm won well last week and bids fot a hattrick. There is a worry as to whether she stays the trip or not but if she does so, she could still be very well treated by the handicapper. Woodlands Genpower is a standing dish around here but old father time seems to be catching up. Well Mick is in off a lightweight, He was heavily punted last time at Chepstow and unable to deliver the goods. Cheekpieces are on today. Man of The Moment is a previous winner at Towcester though continues to go up the handicap. Hereford scorer, Caspar Of Tarsus has the visors left off this afternoon. Lots of chances on paper and whilst Paddy's Tern has been called a few names in the past, he may finally have turned the corner.
