Verdict

Point-to-point and bumper winner Ballymalin has obvious claims under Ryan Hatch but does have to concede weight to the promising BOUDRY. The latter represents the Warren Greatrex team which has an excellent strike rate in such contests and their representative showed notable promise when a pleasing second on his Taunton debut on good ground. The trainer believes he will be better with give underfoot and he is taken to build on that initial promise and go one better. Informationisking was beaten quite some way on debut but it still represented a satisfactory introduction and he seems sure to progress from that run and play a part.
