In depth

Verdict

Progressive over hurdles and fences last year, TOP OF THE CHARTS returns to action 6lb higher than when landing a chase at Perth last summer. Further improvement is expected this year and Gavin Cromwell’s charge is preferred to Robin Deuz Pois. The latter is fitted with additional headgear on his return to chasing but is 15lb higher than when scoring at Newcastle in March while Flirting Lesa has won a hunter chase and finished second off today’s mark at Listowel when last in action. Court Tycoon’s best effort over fences so far came in testing ground and Calicojack has struggled over the larger obstacles.
