Verdict

Marinero was in superb form over hurdles last spring before turning to fences where he hasn't done so well. CONSHARON BOY won a point-to-point, a bumper and a maiden hurdle before finding Red Giant just too strong over this trip at Kilbeggan and the six-year-old looks progressive enough to take this. Steamboat Bill showed his liking for a stamina test when beating a field of handicappers at Roscommon where he gave the runner-up 9lb. He's only a five-year-old so there's more to come while Grade 3 winner Moylisha Tim has found stepping up to Grade 2 company beyond him in his last two starts though had run very well at that level earlier.
