Division one of this very moderate event can go to ROYAL SHOT. Denis Hogan's charge was having only his fourth race when noted staying on well over 2m in a Tramore maiden a month ago and should improve enough over this longer trip to make a successful handicap debut. Fair Funny disappointed at Limerick in March but had been in much better form earlier and has to be a threat along with Wells China, who found the ground much too quick at Fairyhouse last week and is suited by this longer trip. Monte Wildhorn showed his first sign of ability over timber last time and Paul Carberry is an interesting booking while Bye Bye O Bye found 3m stretching his stamina at Cork last week after just failing to hold off Supreme Vic over this trip at Ballinrobe. Pleased As Punch has some decent form over this trip and looks a big danger from her lowly spot in the handicap.
