In depth

Verdict

ROKER PARK is better known as a sprinter but would have a chance second-to-none on the form shown on his only start over today's trip behind Advanced at Ascot last September. He's 8lbs lower here and UK raiders have been doing well in handicaps in Ireland. Spirit Of Xaar has been raised 7lbs for beating the front-running Anam Chara at Fairyhouse and the runner-up will be fancied to turn the tables. However, David Marname's charge is best held up and may have hit the front too soon so he has every chance of confirming the form. Full Title, who was attempting a hat-trick in that race after a couple of minor victories, couldn't cope with a 9lbs rise and never got into the action while Money Trader found the same extra burden too much to handle at the Curragh after scoring over a mile at Leopardstown.
