Jack Holiday, the only course and distance winner, led for a long way on his reappearance at Ballinrobe on Tuesday. Spare Brakes rarely runs on anything but testing ground and his victory at Limerick in February came in a claiming hurdle. CLODY VALLEY hit the crossbar a couple of times last year but made no mistake on his return from a long break at Tramore last month, running out a ten length winner. An 8lb rise makes this tougher but a double looks on the cards. I'll Be That Lady has never won but couldn't have gone much closer over 2m5f at Fairyhouse where she led at this trip and was only caught close home.
