Verdict

ECLAIR DE BEAUFEU has a penalty for his two bumper victories in France but should get off the mark over timber. Mistakes cost him the race when narrowly beaten on his debut at Cork and though unable to cope with the finishing burst of Sams Profile on a return visit the winner looks useful and the remainder were in another parish. Don't Go Mad ran a bit better than his finishing position suggests at Naas and looks the type for a little handicap. He had Exceeded Brief behind that day though the latter also ran well enough and should do better. The remainder with experience have shown little so The Moyglass Flyer, from a stable that can do no wrong, is of interest on his hurdling debut as he's by Galileo out of a Grade 1 winner on the Flat in the USA.
