In depth

Verdict

Golanbrook isn't always the most straightforward of rides but has plenty of ability and is just the type to do well over fences and he won't mind the testing conditions. He's one for the short-list on his chasing bow as is Mazuri Cowboy, a winning point-to-pointer who ended the last campaign scoring over timber at Tramore. Willie Mullins had a very strong entry at the five-day stage so the fact that he runs the unexposed MARITO has to be a pointer. A winner on the Flat in Germany and over hurdles in France, he's had just two runs for the yard and looked a bright prospect when chasing home Drive Time at Punchestown in April. He gets the vote though Plan A has to be a danger as he was comfortably the best of these over hurdles and hasn't done badly in his two runs over fences. Savello and He'llberemembered are others to note in an interesting contest.
