Flash Of Genius scored between the flags at Punchestown's point-to-point fixture in 2010 and didn't reappear for two years when he demolished a field of bumpers on the same course. He hasn't been seen since but is obviously very useful. CROWN OF GOLD is making very good progress and followed a close second at Fairyhouse on his reappearance with an even better run behind Falcon Crest at Fairyhouse. The winner has given the form an almighty boost by winning a Grade 2 so Jim Culloty's charge can go one better and gain his first success. The champion trainer has two entries here and it's difficult to compare the form. Haymount was an impressive bumper winner on good ground at Tipperary in April while Royal Caviar's second to subsequent Grade 1 winner Windsor Park at Leopardstown would be good enough for this though he was a big disappointment when long odds-on at Gowran in January. Thinkitplanitdoit easily landed a Tramore bumper last month and can get involved in what should prove a very informative maiden.
