Scheu Time won a novices' event at Ayr in October and was sent to Ascot last time where he was well supported but fell at the fourth. He won a maiden here in March from the lightly-raced One First Cut, who will be 10lb better off for a six-length beating though has a long absence to overcome. The King Of Brega beat Eight Till Late narrowly at Gowran though that was over 2m4f and this looks on the short side for the winner and the runner-up has been chasing, as has Ask Nile who failed to take advantage of a lower mark over timber at Limerick. POLITICAL POLICY (NAP) has won 11 races in his career and is 2-7 over hurdles. He won a couple of minor races on quick ground in the summer and has since been racing in much better company, including when placed in Listed company at Market Rasen last time, so he's given the nod. Like An Open Book is another who has raced in higher grades and John Burke's mare looks quite well handicapped so could provide the main threat.
