Loch Luatha is the only course and distance winner in the line-up but that was his only victory in 49 starts. He was a long way behind WARREEDY at Roscommon in August and the winner has had his mark protected by scoring twice over hurdles subsequently. He is in the veteran stage but lightly raced and a mark of 88 underestimates his ability. Fox Le Bel has been a talking horse on more than one occasion without winning but is only a five-year-old so should have some improvement in him but Ask Cory was beaten a long way when runner-up behind Classic Concorde at Fairyhouse when the hat-trick seeking Clonguile Way jumped very poorly. Getaday has never won and looks high enough in the weights.
