Verdict

Monbeg Rose went for £60,000 after an easy victory between the flags at Tyrella and started a short-priced favourite on her bumper debut at Tipperary in May but pulled much too hard and was beaten a long way out behind Danali. She'll have been taught to settle and should do much better. The winner also started favourite when making her hurdling debut at Punchestown 10 days ago but made a few mistakes and was soon done with. MYZTIQUE had a nice pipe-opener at Musselburgh in preparation for her hurdling career so she's handed the vote in a race that shouldn't take too much winning despite a big field. Miss Mardan once looked promising and is one to note despite a very long absence.
