Jett has been racing at a very high level over fences including the Grade 1 Savills Chase in December and should make a bold bid to return to the smaller obstacles with a victory before heading for Aintree. His stable companion Neverushacon is another reverting to hurdles but he's more at home over the banks course at Punchestown these days where he's won twice in the past couple of years. Beyond The Law alternates between hurdles and fences though has disappointed over timber in recent starts and though Blast Of Koeman ran quite well over timber at Punchestown on New Year's Eve he's another favoured by the cross-country track there. UNEXPECTED DEPTH has been in superb form over hurdles, landing a Punchestown handicap before placed efforts at Leopardstown, the latest when runner-up in a lucrative Grade B handicap when attempting to concede the winner 18lb. He can get back on the winning trail as Commander Of Fleet, a Grade 1 novice winner at Leopardstown and a close second to Minella Indo in the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham two years ago, will need to bounce back from a couple of moderate runs following a long absence.
