Tabac Brun beat a big field of maidens at Gowran in October then failed to stay 3m on softer ground at Leopardstown so should be suited by today's trip. Grange has been in poor form since returning to action and looks high enough in the weights but Sarabad is reasonably treated on the best of his form, though he's another who has been out of sorts recently. SOMETHINGWONDERFUL has more scope than most of these and, though slightly disappointing since his Punchestown maiden success, there should be more to come and he's handed the vote. Malt Gem stays further but testing conditions should enable him to get involved.
