Verdict

Annacarton, seven times a winner between the flags, ran very well behind Son Of Moyne here last month but that was over a much longer trip and this looks on the short side. VENTURE LAZARUS hasn't had much racing and there was plenty to like about his recent second to Yeoman at Galway. This is his trip and he gets the nod despite his big weight. Best Of Bocelli has yet to win a race of any description and needs quick ground but Banna Beach, who was behind Annacarton here last time, will have found the trip much too far and is better judged on an earlier run at Clonmel when narrowly beaten by Island Peak. Jolily is another who appears to need much further while Duroob, who would have a chance at his best, arrives out of form.
