Verdict

Cadspeed has now run nine times over fences without winning and has started favourite in many of them. He'll probably find a race when sent handicapping and the overall form of TONER D'OUDAIRIES looks stronger. Gordon Elliott's charge, a better hurdler than Cadspeed, appeared to be improving over fences when runner-up to Rupert Lamb at Leopardstown so it was a surprise when he ran over hurdles at Cheltenham. He looks the one to be on here, though Lord Ben can go well as he was still in front when falling three out at Gowran in October and had run well previously on this sort of ground. Mart Lane and Hansupfordetroit are others to note as they make their chasing debuts.
