In depth

Verdict

Jimmy The Guesser gets the vote here with Sands Crooner and Guto rating the main dangers in another wide open affair. The selection won with plenty in hand last time out when beating Willhewhiz and although he has a penalty for that win he looks a progressive type and is taken to defy the handicapper under conditions that suit. Sands Crooner rates the main danger as he returns to turf on a fair mark and won well on the all-weather when last seen beating Pauvic. However his form on turf leaves him with a little to find and for that reason he is opposed. Guto is another worthy of respect on his best form of last season which saw him finish third behind Skilling Spirit. However he may just need the run after a 183 day absence. City For Conquest won well last time when beating Phinerine and is another with place claims but he will need to have improved again to win off this mark in this more competitive affair. Of the remainder Indigo Nights is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but Jimmy The Guesser looks a progressive type and he is taken to score.
