The progressive Zylan is upped a further 8lb having won three of five starts for Roger Fell this year. Foolaad beat the former here last month but his winning run came to an end off today’s mark at Doncaster, though he wasn’t beaten far and finished in front of Classic Seniority and HANDSOME DUDE (NAP). But the latter was runner-up in last year’s renewal and can effectively race off a lower mark with an apprentice taking a further 7lb off his back - David Barron’s charge gets the vote. Naggers finished ahead of Eccleston, Intense Style, My Name Is Rio and Jameerah when only beaten a length at Doncaster last month and could also go well along with Laughton.
