      Verdict

      Most have something to prove but LIQUID should go very close on the back of good efforts in similar contests this season. The combination of quick ground at the minimum trip appears to represent optimum conditions and hopefully he'll respond positively on this first outing since being gelded. Rapid Ranger didn't shape too badly on the his first run for his new yard after a major absence and is respected, whilst stable companion Angelou is worth a market check. Jabbarockie has shown enough on just four starts in three seasons to be of interest for a yard that do well with sprinters, whilst Kodiac Pearl and Melrose Girl also represent yards which achieve considerable success with their speedsters but neither have yet displayed any real sparkle.
