A winner at Ripon last month, he went close again at the same track when just failing to catch Fast Shot in a Class 2 sprint and can race off the same mark with Jason Hart's allowance taken into account. Chooseday should also go well after a good effort over 5f at Beverley but My Name Is Rio is upped 7lb chasing a hat trick after victories over track and trip and at Newcastle last time.
